| CBN Committees & How to VolunteerCBN is looking for volunteers to assist in several areas of our organization. Volunteering is a unique networking opportunity for members of CBN. Committee members are also eligible for re-certification credits through WorldatWork. Please select one or more membership areas below for which you would like to volunteer and fill out the interest form below. Programs CommitteePrograms oversee the coordination of all member meetings. Plans and develops programs for bi-monthly meetings conducted during the year; coordinates A/V and catering at meeting site; introduces speaker; facilitates meetings. Professional Development & Education CommitteeActs a liaison between WorldatWork and CBN; coordinates CBN-sponsored locally hosted WorldatWork events (including venue, registration, volunteers, etc.); connects with participants during course events; addresses education and certification questions; oversees CBN scholarships. Membership CommitteeMembership oversees recruitment, responding to inquiries about the association, and assisting in updating membership information for members. Identifies potential members; assists with member renewal process; welcomes new members. Communications CommitteeCoordinates development of all communications including announcements, newsletter, social media presence, etc.; oversees web design and enhancements; leads marketing and public relations efforts. Community Outreach CommitteeIdentifies opportunities for CBN to get involved in the community and support various charitable organizations University RelationsLiaison to Webster University. Also works with local universities to recruit students and educate them on CBN; volunteers visit local universities and assist with outreach programs. Ad Hoc CommitteeAssists with special projects for CBN (such as planning social networking events, etc.); identifies other event opportunities, oversees sponsorships, provides support to other members of the steering committee on an as needed basis.
