What is CBN?
The Compensation & Benefits Network of Greater St. Louis ("CBN") was formed in 1987 by a group of compensation and benefits professionals interested in fostering professional development and exchange of information (networking) among compensation and benefits practitioners and policy makers.
CBN is a nonprofit organization and member of the WorldatWork Local Network. As a WorldatWork Local Network member, CBN is able to offer local practitioners networking advantages along with educational and association fundraising opportunities. WorldatWork (www.worldatwork.org) is a nonprofit human resources association for professionals and organizations focused on compensation, benefits and total rewards. It's mission is to help total rewards professionals achieve their career goals and influence their organizations success by providing thought leadership in total rewards disciplines from the world's most respected experts and fostering an active community of total rewards practitioners.
Mission Statement
CBN is an organization of human resource professionals active in compensation, benefits and total rewards which exists to provide a quality local resource for professional growth and development, and to advance the total rewards profession.
To accomplish this mission we will:
- facilitate professional networking
- provide quality informational programs and professional development
- provide opportunities for leadership development and active participation in CBN
- maintain cooperative relationships with WorldatWork and other human resources organizations, both locally and nationally
